Global Compact

In 2004, we chose to adhere to the Global Compact.

What is the Global Compact?

The Global Compact is an initiative that was launched in 1999 by Kofi Annan, the former UN Secretary General, at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

This pact invites companies to adopt, support and implement 10 basic values according to their influence in the following fields:

  • Human Rights
  • Work standards
  • Environment
  • Fight against corruption

To date, 3,800 companies have committed themselves to implementing the actions.
